Published Boudoir and Pinup Photography – VIXEN Photography
VIXEN Photography’s pinup and boudoir photos have been published in countless magazine features. The pages shown here are featured in the March issue of Delicious Dolls Magazine.
The models featured in this issue are some of our regular clients. We’ve worked with three of these ladies 3 or more times 🙂 It’s always an honor when our clients come back for more! And of course it’s always nice for them to see themselves on the nice glossy pages of a magazine.
The four ladies featured in this issue are: Buxom Bunny, Ivana Marie, Ashley Love, and Annabel Von Velvet.
Ashley Love
I’m a boudoir and wedding photographer based in northern San Diego. I’m used to being behind the camera, but I couldn’t resist getting my photo done by the talented Scott Saw of Vixen Photography. He helped me portray exactly who I see in the mirror, which is a very sexy outgoing, yet shy girl. I truly love who I am and I’m happy to share me with all of you. Ivana Marie
I’m from San Diego, CA I’ve officially been modeling for 6 years now, I absolutely love it. It’s something that’s therapeutic to me and makes the sexier side of me unleash! I personally model more Pinup because I admire the pinup, vintage/retro lifestyle. I love being in front of the camera and the way it makes me feel, it excites me knowing were creating beautiful art!! Im also a hair and makeup artist, I specialize in men’s hair. I love making people feel confident and beautiful, it’s the best feeling. I enjoy getting dolled up, listening to rockabilly, oldies, metal, funk, classic, underground hip hop music & the list goes on. Watching old films, thrift shops, antique stores, car shows, shows, concerts, working out & hiking are the things that I love to do. I grew up with Sofia Loren being my idol, she became my inspiration to start modeling. One of my favorite quotes from Sofia is ” Everything you see I owe to spaghetti” It makes me chuckle because I’m Italian, so all my curves I owe to spaghetti as well, I’m voluptuous & wouldn’t have it any other way! 😉
Buxom Bunny
I used to hate the way my body looked. I was always “too fat for an Asian girl”. My arms were too thick, my thighs too big, my tummy not flat enough. I have always dealt with body image issues for the majority of my life. There were times where I couldn’t even look at myself in the mirror. Then I discovered the Pin Up culture and I couldn’t believe what I saw. Women of color of all different sizes on magazine covers, in centerfolds, and in burlesque shaking their goods! I finally fell in love with my body. I realized I didn’t have to be skinny or white to feel visible. Because I am enough! I love my fat arms and thick thighs my chubby tummy! I feel beautiful, I feel sexy, and I feel loved. I’m changing the way Asian American woman are perceived in the media and I’m here to represent!
Annabel Von Velvet
Growing up, the icons I always gravitated towards were those with a strong sense of self. Whether they be women, men or those in between. When I discovered the wold of pin up and burlesque, it was love at first sight. I was mesmerized by the elegance, charm and strength that these glorious creatures exuded. I love seeing a community that repeatedly proves without a shadow of a doubt, that all bodies, regardless of size, race, gender and age, can be truly sexy.
