Hannah Nicole: Goth Pinup – Alt Model – Fetish Vixen – Inked Girl – Tattooed Model
I met Hannah via a solan she worked at on State St. At the time she was just starting her modeling career and it is really taking off now. We have worked together on many occasions since and she does hair and makeup at the studio on occasion. She has become a sought after goth pinup model who is comfortable shooting fetish photography that pushes the boundaries of what she can get away with on social network posts.
It’s amazing shooting her. Her personality transforms instantly when she is in front of the camera and the character shift is drastic. One of my favorite parts of photography is witnessing people come out of their shell and becoming extremely expressive. I suppose that I have a natural ability to bring it out in people… because I don’t think about it much… but it always happens. I just let people be themselves and everything flows naturally.
This photo set was published by Delicious Dolls magazine in May 2017. Hanna was featured on the cover and there was a 4 page article featuring the photos. Interview
Tell us where you’re from and a little bit about your background.
I was born and raised in San Diego. Growing up I did lots of performing arts and theatre. I’ve always been drawn to anything creative and artistic. Immediately after high school I went to cosmetology school and got my cosmetology license, so I’ve been doing hair and make up for a few years now. When I was about 19 I started getting into modeling and absolutely loved it! I do a lot of hair and make up at photography studios, so it’s fun being on both sides of the camera.
What genre of modeling best describes your style?
I do all kinds of modeling, but I do a fair amount of lingerie modeling.
If you could have a superhero power, which would it be and why?
I think my superhero power would be to talk to animals.
When did you first get interested in modeling?
I got interested in modeling when I was about 20. It’s been a few years and I’m still just getting started!
Were you inspired by anyone already in the industry?
I’ve always been inspired by Dita Von Teese. She’s amazing!
What inspired your stage name?
My stage name is my first and middle name, so it already sounded good!
Tell us something quirky about yourself that very few people know.
I geek out over Star Wars. My favorite Sith Lord is Darth Maul.
What has been your greatest accomplishment so far in your life?
I feel like I’ve accomplished many things in life, but getting a cover is definitely an accomplishment!
Your favorite lingerie company of choice?
My favorite lingerie company would have to be Agent Provocateur.
What is your favorite genre of music?
I listen to quite a bit of metal and classic rock
What is one thing we would have never guessed about you?
I also enjoy classical music
Do you cuss like a sailor, or blush like a saint?
Both 😉
Is modeling a hobby or a career for you?
Modeling is a hobby and a career for me. It’s awesome getting paid to do what you love!
Do you have a dream magazine cover you’d love to be on?
I would love to be on the cover of Inked Magazine.
What’s the best part of a shoot/event?
The best part of a shoot is embracing yourself. Every shoot I do is empowering.
What’s the worst part of a shoot/Event?
The worst part is when I feel too instructed or posed. My best work is done when I let myself go and the photographer is able to capture raw emotion and passion.
How would you define sexy?
I think the sexiest trait a person can have is passion.
What is the sexiest statement you’ve ever heard?
I love your mind.
Are there any lingerie tips/tricks that you can provide to help other ladies get that perfect look?
Arch your back! I never get tired of hearing that.
Any new projects or plans we should anticipate?
I’m always working on something new, so stay tuned! Many big plans this year!
What advice would you give other ladies interesting in getting into modeling?
Be yourself! Do it because you love it!
